Bissell, a painter and paperhanger, died suddently in the St. Nicholas Hotel on Union Street, the facts developed at an inquest held this morning indicating the cause of death to have been organic heart trouble, superinduced by other troubles which made him a nervous wreck. Bissell's mother had been caring for him during his last period of illness, and last night left his room for a short time. Soon afterward she heard him fall heavily, and investgation revealed him lying on the floor. He was placed in bed and a number of physicians were called, but Bissell died within a few minutes. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the undertaking rooms of Reynolds and Van Nuys. Bissell was 32 years old and came to Pasadena twelve years ago from Marshall, Mich. He is survived by a mother and a sister, Mrs. M. C. Gird, of Burton Court.
