She became ill last November while touring the world on sabbatical leave. Miss Brown, of 560 N Kingsley Dr, was born at Hamilton, Tex., and had been librarian at Virgil Junior High School since 1936. She leaves no immediate survivors. Funeral services will be conducted in Roswell, NM. Her body will lie in state until noon today in Utter-McKinley Mortuary, 444 S. Vermont Ave [Los Angeles].
