Hold Funeral Rites at Smith Parlors for Neils Christensen

Funeral services for Neils Jorgen Christensen, aged Norwegian who passed away
last week at the home of his son, Laurence Nelsen, 3139 Halm avenue, was held
Monday morning at 10:30 o’clock from the Horace C. Smith funeral home. Interment
was in Inglewood cemetery.

Mr. Christensen was 88 years of age and was a native of Denmark. He had resided
in California for many years. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Annie Margaret
Christensen, four daughters, Mrs. Margaret Hazelhurst and Mrs. Johanne Roenicke
of Escalon, Calif., Mrs. Annie Roesty of Canada and Mrs. Sara Beyers of Oregon;
three sons, Chris Hahn Nelsen of North Dakota, Hans Nelsen of Montana and
Laurence Nelsen.
