The funeral of Samuel Leffler yesterday afternoon was attended by a large 
number of friends of the deceased, there being nearly a hundred of the Southern 
Pacific shop and yard employees present.  The Odd Fellows also turned out well, 
and the house on South Workman street was crowded.  The exercises consisted of 
the IOOF funeral rites, and a brief but touching address by Rev. R. W. Cleland 
of Duarte.  At the close of the service a large number of persons followed the 
remains to their final resting-place at Evergreen.
