A. Hospital Funeral services were held at ten o’clock last Saturday afternoon from the H. S. Noice undertaking parlors for Charles Klein of 3729 Cardiff avenue, who died early Friday morning at the Methodist hospital in Los Angeles of blood poisoning, as result of injuries received when he lost all fingers of his hand in an accident four weeks ago. Mr. Klein, who was head chemist for a varnish company in Los Angeles, fell while at work in the plant and caught his hand in a mixer. His fingers were so badly mangled that amputation was necessary. Blood poisoning developed, resulting in death. He is survived by his wife and four small children, Helen, Carl, Walter and Harold. His widow is seriously ill in the French hospital, having recently undergone a major operation.
