Los Angeles Times, Oct. 7, 1949
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow in Yankton, S. D., his birthplace,
for Frank Koenig, 48, Los Angeles furniture dealer, who died Wednesday in his
home, 1532 N. Detroit St. His body was sent east by plane last night by Edwards
Bros. Colonial Mortuary. Mr. Koenig was associated with the Royal Furniture Co.
at 619 N. Western Ave. He served in the Army in the recent war. He leaves two
sisters, Mrs. Emma Ohlhaus of Chicago and Mrs. Elsie Obeslo of Sioux Falls, S.
D., and a brother, John Koenig of San Francisco. Mr. Koenig had been a local
resident for 35 years.
