Funeral Tuesday at 1:30. One of the most distressing accidents ever known in San Dimas occurred on Saturday afternoon, when Charles Willis Moon, son of Mr and Mrs C.E. Moon, was drowned in Puente Lake. Mr. Moon, accompanied by his sons, Henry and Charles, and Ivan Kesterson, left early Friday morning for Puente Lake on a compaing trip. After lunch on Saturday, Henry and Ivan left for a visit to the camp of some Shittier boys; farther up the lake and Mr Moon and Charles remained behind. In about an hour, Mr Moon appeared at the Whittier camp, expecting to find Charles there. A search was at once instigated and as no trace of him could be found it was feared he was drowned. A search in the lake was commenced and continued until Sunday noon, when his body was found, his hand still grasping his fishing pole.
