Los Angeles Times, October 31, 1891, Page 8 - Died:  PYATT - In this city, 
October 28, 1891, James B. Pyatt, a native of Pittsburg, Penn., aged 78 years.  
Friends and acquaintenances are respectfully invited to attend the funeral 
Friday at 2 o'clock.  Funeral to be under auspices of Los Angles lodge F&AM 
from residence of B. F. Orr, 337 Buena Vista st.

Los Angeles Times, November 19, 1891, Page 9 - W. F. Storey filed a petition 
for the admission to probate of the will of James B. Pyatt, deceased, who died 
in October last, leaving real property valued at $1000.
