Stonesipher, 82, died yesterday at his home here. Appointed in 1936 by the late President Roosevelt, Mr. Stonesipher moved into the newly completed post office building on N. Washington Ave. He retired in July, 1951. A native of Oho, Mr. Stonesipher had been a salesman, hotel owner, and real estate man before coming to Whittier in 1922. He was associated with a realty concern before his appointment as post- master. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie L. Meeker of Hollywood and Mrs. Mary Maxine Pillsbury of Whittier. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Emerson Chapel.
