Sun - 12/18/2007 Pearlie Bradley Wade was born June 07,1919 in Waldo, Arkansas to Lewis and Josephine Bradley. She was the 2nd daughter of four daughters and four sons. Pearlie attended public school in Waldo. Pearlie accepted Christ at an early age and attended Pillars of the Truth Church of God. In 1945, Pearlie moved to Los Angeles, California where she met and later married Jonah Wade on June 29, 1946. They had two children; a son, Leonard Garfield and a daughter, Dinah Lynne. In Los Angeles, she joined St. James Missionary Baptist Church under the Pastorship of Floyd Owens. The joy of Pearlie's life was her two granddaughters, Lora Lynne and Leah Dyanne Watson who were born to her daughter Dinah and husband, Richard Watson. In her later years, Pearlie lived with her daughter and first attended Saville's Adult Daycare, and then Loma Linda University Medical Center Adult Day Services where she enjoyed all the people and activities at both facilities. Pearlie was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Josephine Bradley: sisters, L.A. Hopkin, Jewel Garling: brothers, Arthur Bradley, Oscar Bradley, Early Bradley and Louis Bradley: and son-in-law, Richard Watson. Those left to cherish her memory are: daughter Dinah Lynne Watson, one sister Betty Mitchell (Lovette Mitchell), two granddaughters Lora Lynne Watson-DeMars and Leah Dyanne Watson-Rodgers (Edward Rodgers) and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pearlie is loved and missed by all who knew her. Mother, we wish you love on your journey. Additional Comments: Interment is at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, CA. Pearlie rests with her mother and brothers in the family plot.
