Additional Comments:
Louis William Bowser, son of Michael Bowser and Athen Willson, brother of 
Benjamin Smith Bowser. Louis served first as a private and later a corporal in 
Company H, 39th Regiment, Missouri Infantry during the Civil War.  Louis never 
married.

John William Bowser, son of Benjamin Smith Bowser and Mary Elizabeth Bise, 
born in Missouri.
