The Los Angeles Times Fri Oct 20, 1905

Desertion Proved.  Anna Reed was granted a divorce from
Amaziah Reed by Judge Monroe yesterday, on the ground
of desertion. The parties were married at Harrisburg, Neb.,
on Christmas Eve, 1896. In May of last year the husband
deserted his wife and one child.
