NEWSPAPER Issue of Wednesday, October 19, 1927

Mrs. R.E. Britt and granddaughter little Miss Mildred Barker of Rock Mills, 
left Sunday for Los Angeles, California where they will make their future 
home. The will be joined in the near future by Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hale. The 
latter before her recent marriage was Mrs. Lola Barker, daughter of Mrs. Britt.

Interesting to a wide circle of friends in Alabama and Georgia was the 
marriage of Mrs. Lola Barker and Mr. Jack Hale, which was solemnized Monday, 
Oct. 10th, in Atlanta. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. R.E. Britt of Rock 
Mills. The groom is the daughter of Mrs. R.E. Britt of Rock Mills. The groom 
is of a prominent Sedalia, Missouri family. Mr. and Mrs. Hale will make 
their home in California where Mr. Hale is connected with the picture 
industry.
