In that year he came to California, arriving in San Francisco January 20, 1866, where, after working at various occupations until 1871, he came to Marin and purchased his present ranch of seven hundred and twenty-seven acres. Married May 14, 1871, Dominga Saiz, by whom he has John and Marion.
