Publishers (1880) James L. Fallon. Born in county Roscommon, Ireland, August 19, 1828. He came to the United States in 1849, and settled in Boston, Mass., where he resided till he came to this State in 1853, via Panama, arriving in San Francisco March 5th of that year. He remained in San Francisco about five years, and then went to the mines at French Gulch, where he remained a little over one year, then returned to San Francisco, where he remained till he came to Tomales township in 1859, and lived on the coast till he came to his present ranch. He married Delia Dunning, who was born in Ireland August 24, 1837. Their children are: Mary J., born June 9, 1861; Annie A., born October 3, 1863; Katie E., born October 23, 1865; Ellie F., born November 11, 3867; Emma J., born September 5, 1869; Ida L., born October 7, 1872; James L., born March 18, 1874.
