Publishers (1880) Gumescendo Pacheco. Born in Novato, this county, January 13, 1852; was educated at the Santa Clara College, finishing his education in 1871. He then returned to this county. He married, February 27, 1876, Miss Rosa Tanfaran, a native of California. Since this time he has been engaged in farming and dairying. He owns one thousand and six acres of land, being a part of the old Pacheco homestead, located on the San Rafael and Petaluma road. His children are Mercedes and Gumescendo.
