Mr. Crinella was born at Petaluma, California, April 15, 1892, son of Frank and Anna Crinella. His father was also a plumber, was an early settler in California and died in 1927. Domenic Crinella was one of a family of three children. He attended school in Minnesota; learned the plumbing business there and in 1926 returned to California. He had a plumbing establishment at Petaluma until 1928, when he sold out and moved to Ukiah, where he established the Ukiah Plumbing & Heating Company. He has handled some of the largest plumbing and heating contracts in this part of the state. His company did the plumbing and heating installation for the Mendocino County Courthouse, for the Palace Hotel at Ukiah, for the grammar school building at Fortuna, the Phillip Sweet School at Petaluma, the Petaluma High School and many other public buildings. Mr. Crinella is affiliated with the B. P. O. Elks and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He married Miss Frances Schugl, who was born at Virginia, Minnesota.
