Tired of Life
Levcadio Soto, a native of Chili, was found in his cabin at Bodie last Friday in
a comatose state from the effects of taking poison consisting of morphine and
carbolic acid.  He was removed to the hospital and died the same day.  The Free
Press says his suicide was induced doubtless by the great bodily pain he had
suffered for the past two years from a broken leg.  Soto was 53 years of age.
