Dorothy D. Sharkey, 82, of Carmel, died Sunday, April 25, 2004.
She was born Oct. 7, 1921, in King City [Monterey county].  She was the 
valedictorian of the Pacific Grove High School class of 1939 and a graduate of 
Hartnell College.  She married Norman Sharkey April 17, 1948, in Reno, Nev[ada].
Memberships: Women's Club of Carmel of the Community Church of the Monterey 
Peninsula.
Memorial Services: 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 29, at Hacienda Carmel West Room, 
Carmel.
Placement of ashes: El Carmelo Cemetery, Pacific Grove.
Memorials: Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1798, Monterey, CA 93942.
Arrangements: The Paul Mortuary, 390 Lighthouse Ave., Pacific Grove." END
