The Napa Register, February 23, 1995
Elizabeth M. Batto, age 79, passed away at Queen of the Valley Hospital in 
Napa.  Elizabeth was a fourth generation Napan, born Jan. 1, 1916, to John 
Edward O’Connor and Louise White O’Connor.  Her great-grandfather, John Wooden, 
came across the Plains from Niles, Michigan, in 1846.  Elizabeth attended Napa 
High School.  She graduated in 1934.  Elizabeth married Frank A. Batto of 
Vinebury, Calif., on January 26, 1939.  Burial was at the Wooden-Farley Family 
Cemetery in Wooden Valley.
