Mr. Ciruso was born in Longobardi, Italy. He served in the U.S. Navy (Seabees and calvary) during World War II. He became a U.S. citizen in 1956 when he was naturalized in Cleveland, Ohio. He had been a bricklayer for 40 years. He has lived in California since 1958 and at the Veterans home since 1968. He was a member of Napa Friendship Club since 1970 and a lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans. He is survived by his wife Betty of Napa; a daughter, Marilyn Ciruso of Fairfield, a son, Paul of Orange; two sisters, Leona Ritchie of Geneva, Ohio, and Agnes Kerr of Bakersfield; one brother, Ernest of Bakersfield; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the veterans Home Chapel on Wednesday, at 11 a.m. under the direction of Napa Valley memorial Gardens Mortuary with the Rev. Marlow Link officiating.
