The Napa Register, August 3, 1872 
“DIED.

FARLEY – At the Revere House, in this city, July 29th, Mr. Anderson Farley, of 
Wooden Valley, aged 51 years.

Mr. Farley was a native of Virginia.  He came to California in 1846, and was 
one of the early settlers of Napa valley, being for many years a resident of 
this city.  He leaves a wife and family to mourn his sudden death.” END
