The Napa Register, September 26, 1970 
Funeral services were held Monday, September 28, at the Treadway and Wigger 
Funeral Chapel in Napa for John Louis O’Connor.  Age 50.  He lived at 1423 G 
Street, Napa.  He died Friday, September 25, at his home.  Interment was in the 
Wooden Valley Cemetery.

Funeral Notice:
“O’Connor – In Napa, Friday, September 25th, 1970; John Lewis O’Connor, husband 
of Florence Nelson O’Connor of Napa; father of Wm. Patrick O’Connor of Napa; 
step-father of Mrs. Kenneth (Ellen) Grimm of Napa; brother of Elizabeth Batto 
and Charles O’Connor of Napa, Marian Jones of Petaulma [sic] and the late 
Edward O’Connor; uncle of John and Paul Batto of Napa and Michael Jones of 
Reno, Nev.; grandfather of 5.

A native of Napa, California, aged 50 years.

Friends are invited to attend funeral services at Treadway & Wigger Funeral 
Chapel Monday, September 28, at 11 a.m. with Mr. L. Dean Pense of the First 
Christian Church officiating.  Burial will be in the family plot at Wooden 
Valley Cemetery.” END
