Funeral services have been set for tonight at 7:30 o’clock from the Webber Funeral Parlors, with interment in the family plot in Maxwell, California. Reavis came to Napa county as a child with his parents and made his home here in Congress Valley, later moving to Napa. The Reavis home on Yajome street was sold following the death of his wife, Mrs. Frances Reavis. The well-known Napan served two terms as constable, leaving office in 1938. He was a prominent poultry fancier and won many prizes with his stock in state and county fairs. Deceased is survived by one son, James Clark Reavis, of Berkeley, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Hayward, of the Dales, Oregon, and Mrs. Fannie Hills, of Oakland.” Additional Comments: The Napa Journal (Napa, California).
