POPE MAN'S BODY FOUND IN HOME:
ST. HELENA--  The body of William Daniel Starr, 73, retired rancher who lived 
alone at his house near Pope Valley for the last 12 years, was found 
yesterday.  An autopsy ordered by Coroner Charles Burchell, indicated that the 
man had died of a heart ailment yesterday morning.  The body was found 
yesterday afternoon by Joe Frankenstein, a neighbor who dropped in to see the 
man.  Mr. Starr was the father of Arthur Starr of Los Angeles and Earl Starr 
of El Monte, California, and the Grandfather of Arthur W. Starr of El Monte.  
He was a native of Illinois.  Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 P.M. 
at the Morrison Funeral Chapel here.  Cremation will follow at the Tulocay 
Crematorium and the ashes will be shipped to El Monte for burial.
