She had been in failing health for some time. Mrs. Adams was born here in 1860, four years after her parents, the late John and Elizabeth Wilson, crossed the plains and settled in this locality. she made her home here until 1912, when she moved to Oregon, where she lived until about six and a half years ago, when she returned to Napa. She was a charter member of the Advent Christian Church here, and active for many years in church affairs. She had a wide circle of friends and acquaintances, both here and in Oregon. Surving in addition to Mrs. Skivington are the following nephews and nieces: B. W. Switzer, Miss Nina Hoffman, Ira Wilson and Mrs. Myrtle Plummer, all of Napa; Charles Wilson, of Lake county, Sam Wilson of Richmond; Mrs. Hazel Berringer of Mill Valley; Mrs. Myrtle Donahue of Santa Cruz and Mrs. Winnie Watkins of San Francisco. She was the wife of the late Martin Adams. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Webber Funeral Parlors, with burial to follow in the Partrick Cemetery in the Napa Redwoods district.
