Buhn of Coombsville, died at the home of her parents a few miles east of this city at one o’clock this afternoon. The news of her death will come as a sad shock to her many friends in this city. She had been in poor health for many months but it was not realized that the end was so near. A husband and two little children survive her. There are also besides her parents, several sisters and an infant brother, to mourn her untimely demise. Notice of the funeral will be published later. Volume LXXVI, issue number 26 of Friday June 24, 1910, page 1, column 5: Death of Mrs. Worel The funeral of the late Mrs. Charles Worel was held at two o’clock this afternoon from the undertakering parlors of D. S. Kyser, a large gathering of sorrowing friends of the family being in attendance. Rev. Richard Wylie officiated. A choir composed of Mrs. P. S. King, Miss Lily Proctor, E. S. Gridley and D. S. Kyser sang "Come Ye Disconsolate" and "Blessed Sleep". The pall-bearers were: Frank Dado, John Peper, Reginald Simpkins, David Cavagnaro, Nicholas Carbone of Napa and Ed. Jacobs of San Francisco. Interment was made in Tulocay cemetery, where a beautiful profusion of fragrant floral tributes were left to mark the last resting place of one dearly beloved. Notes: Anne Worel: full name is Anne Emilie Buhn Worel. She was born on 18 November 1878 in San Francisco, San Francisco County, California. She died on 22 June, 1910 in Coombsville, Napa County, California. Cause of death was pulmonary tuberculosis. She was buried in the Tulocay Cemetery in Napa, Napa County, California on 24 June, 1910. Charles Worel: full name is Karl Rudolph Worel. He was born on 28 June 1874 in Vienna, Rossau, Austria. He died in San Francisco, on 21 July in San Francisco County, California. Cause of death was heart attack when he was slept. On 24 Jul 1944 he was cremated and his ashes were interred in the Tulocay Cemetery in Napa, Napa County, California.Cemetery in Napa, Napa County, California. They were married on 15 April, 1906 in Coombsville, Napa County, California. They had two children: Rudolph Carl Worel on 24 January 1907 and Charlotte Anna Worel on 17 August 1908 Both were born in San Francisco, San Francisco County, California.
