San Francisco Call, September 26, 1892
“Miss Lillie [Lillian Minerva] Fowler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Fowler, 
of Napa, was married yesterday [September 14] at the residence of her parent, 
to Mr. Sherwood Bird, son of Major W. H. Bird of Salt Lake City. The ceremony 
was performed by Rev. John Shurtleff of Napa. Mr. and Mrs. Bird left last night 
for Salt Lake City, where they will spend their honeymoon. They will reside in 
this city [San Francisco], Mr. Bird having business interests here.” END
