P. Ferguson’s body was recovered from the Truckee river yesterday afternoon. The train men on No. 7 saw the body in an eddy in the river at Camp 25. They stopped the train and tried to secure the body, but before they could do so it was whirled in the current again. The boys notified some section men at work near by, and they soon succeeded in recovering the body. A coffin arrived from Truckee and the remains were forwarded to that place yesterday. When found the body was much bruised and nearly destitute of clothing. The funeral will take place in Truckee tomorrow at 2 P.M.
