Died at Truckee

Truckee (Nevada Co.), January 5. Thomas L. Pursegrove, of Menlo Park, who came 
up here a few days ago to spend a couple of months, died Wednesday night of 
pneumonia. He was a well-known school teacher in that section of the State. A 
message, at his request, was sent to W.W. Pierce, who conducts a business 
college at Palo Alto, to come to Truckee at once. Pierce arrived in time to see 
the man breathe his last. The remains were shipped yesterday to Menlo Park for 
interment. Deceased has an aged mother living in England. He has no relatives 
in the United States.
