The item states that Walter Eaton, nephew of Murray Eaton, a mine superintendent, was seized by Mexican bandits several days ago and was held in the mountains near Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico for 15,000 pesos ransom. Escaping from his desparate guards, Eaton made his way through the mountains to safety, walking part of the time in streams of water to throw his captors off the trail. Parral is the town in which the notorious Pancho Villa was killed.
