Friends and relatives filled the Corning Christian church Friday afternoon at 
2:30 o'clock to pay final tribute to Hans M. Hansen, local rancher who passed 
away at his home here Tuesday morning.

Rev. LeRoy Howard, pastor of the church, conducted the service.  Miss Etta Hill 
accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Tom B. Kee- sang two hymns "My Jesus I Love 
Thee," and "Safe In the Arms of Jesus."

Acting pallbearers were Frank Stower, Trine Frost, Charles Azevedo, W.G. 
Blackburn, Gene Buckingham and Byron Jobe.  Honorary pallbearers were J.H. 
McDaniel, C.C. Pollack, D.H. Williams, M.D. Moody, J.H. Foreman, M.A. Stetson, 
Frank Monge and Ivan Frost.

Many from out of town were here to attend the funeral.  Among them were Mrs. 
Lester J. Skidmore of Porterville, Mrs. Edw. C. Lane and son, James of Oakland; 
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar V. Hansen of Sacramento, Pfc. Roy N. Hansen of San Luis 
Obispo; Mr. and Mrs. David Wurschmidt and three sons of Chico; Mr. and Mrs. 
Martin Nielsen, Chris Nielsen and Aders Nielsen of Lincoln; Mr. and Mrs. Carl 
Nielsen of Waterford; Ted Hansen of Needles; Lewis Turner of Willows and Mr. 
and Mrs. Harry M. George of Willows.
