From Highway 89, take the Butt Lake Road turnoff (7 miles south of the Hwys. 89/36 intersection, or 6 miles north of Canyon Dam). After a little over 3 miles, the road will change from pavement to dirt (it will change back to pavement again, but only briefly). 4.8 miles from where the dirt road initially begins, you'll find the cemetery on the left side of the road, up on the hillside. It is surrounded by a old, white pick fence. It contains a total of 7 graves. Road condition: Generally well-graded road. No access in winter months, and can be closed at any time due to storms. Name Date of Birth Date of Death Markings/Notes Miller, Lena A. (Mrs.) 4/4/1828 8/26/1904 Miller, William H. 2/11/1833 11/26/1879 Native of Watkins, Schulyer Co., NY, Freemason Miller, Baby Infant The concrete Miller Baby stone is now illegible, as are a couple of the other "initials-only" stones. The information here was, primarily, taken from Tim I. Purdy, who surveyed this cemetery in the late 1970's or early 1980's. There are also 4 stones, which might have been footstones. They bear no "real" information. H. L. S.T.B. T??? L.A.M. - This one is most probably Lena's footstone, but someone has positioned it at the head of one of the graves.
