Survey date: October 6, 2005 Please contact Beth if you would like digitized photos of the cemetery, of any headstone, or both. You can get to this cemetery from a couple of different ways. Directions given here are from the main Highway (70). From Highway 70 (approximately 23 miles east of Quincy and approximately 11 miles west of Portola), take the Mohawk Highway 40A Road for .6 mile. Turn right on Johnsville Road and proceed 4.3 miles. Stay left past Plumas Eureka Estates. Close to Johnsville, you'll pass a sign that says Plumas Eureka State Park. In Johnsville, turn right at the street where there is a sign pointing toward the cemetery. Follow road to end (there's kind of a circle there), and turn left into cemetery. There are many unmarked graves within this cemetery. Translations of the Cyrillic markings and Serbian language found on some stones within this cemetery were provided graciously by Robert Jerin.
