Near the monument/viewing area, take Rich Bar Road (steep, dirt - not recommended in wet weather). Go across the bridge and through Rich Bar, veering toward the right. Where the road makes a major split (the upper road going toward the RR tracks), take the lower road. Park there. On foot, cross the creek toward the silver, metal gate blocking a driveway. On the left, you'll see a concrete underpass. Pass through the underpass and head up the dirt road. On the left, you'll see a metal gate blocking a bridge. This is private property. Get permission to enter, or enter at your own risk. Walk up the steep dirt road, approximately 75 yards. You'll see a pointed, white marker on the left of the road. Travel up the path at the marker to the cemetery. Rich Bar is primarily a summer cabin, mining area to this day. The best time to get permission to view the cemetery is probably during mining season - from the folks who own the house next to the road leading to the cemetery. There are at least 3 unmarked graves here. There may be others. Note that in mining settlements, such as Twain; Rich Bar; Hot Springs; Twelve-Mile Bar; Caribou; etc., the deceased was often brought over the hill to be buried at Meadow Valley.
