Thought to have once been a Maidu Indian village, this cemetery is now hollowed ground for those in which the ancient Maidu blood once flowed. As many as 15 graves are marked only by the tributes left by loving family members and friends. Perhaps many more graves lay within these grounds, but are now long lost from view.
