NORA SYLVIA (TODD) SMEDLEY

  Graveside services are scheduled at 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 22, 1980 at San 
Jacinto Valley Cemetery for former Hemet-San Jacinto Valley resident Nora 
Sylvia (Todd) Smedley, 84, of Riverside, who died Thursday, August 21, 1980 at 
Corona Community Hospital.
  The Jehovah's Witnesses will officiate.
  Mrs. Smedley was born December 5, 1895 in Kentucky. She was a California 
resident for 45 years, living in the Hemet-San Jacinto area for 30 years. She 
was a member of the Jehovah's Witness Church.
  Survivors include three sons, Curtis Clark of Texas, Albert Clark of 
Tennessee, and Ruben Clark of San Jacinto; five daughters, Viola Smith of 
Bakersfield, Mary Eakin of Texas, Dorthy Johnson of Buena Park, Doris Griffis 
of Riverside and Georgia Cooper of San Diego; Numerous grandchildren and great-
grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Verna McBride of 
Texas.
