Miser Cemetery, Rancho Murieta North, Sacramento County CA Following you will find general information on a cemetery in southeastern Sacramento County in California. The site was recorded by the Sloughhouse Area Genealogical Society in 1998. These are old cemeteries and most are not maintained although we are working to find groups to sponsor each. Many of the stones were indecipherable, as some are almost 150 years old; many had been vandalized. Whenever possible, our data from each cemetery was compared to lists that had been compiled in the past, by others. We have added names from those lists, even though we were often unable to find the actual gravesite within the cemetery. Accessed through the gated community of Rancho Murieta North, northwest of Colero Lake, this beautiful cemetery sits on a crest overlooking the vast pastures of wildflowers, blue oaks and rolling mounds of the area. Surrounded by a strong fence, most of the area is taken up with gravesites that appear to be happily indifferent to the lack of upkeep and content to peacefully nestle in the landscape. ************************************************************************ NOTICE: These electronic pages may NOT be reproduced in any format for profit or presentation by any other organization or persons.
