Clarksburg Man Drowns in River
The body of Tony Davis, about 41, of Clarksburg, was still missing Monday after 
the southern Yolo county fisherman was drowned in the Sacramento river Thursday 
evening.  
Sheriff's deputies from Sacramento county were dragging the stream, but belief 
was expressed that the swift current might sweep the body to San Francisco bay 
before it could be recovered.  
A commercial fisherman, Davis was fishing with his brother, Manuel, Thursday 
evening when he suddenly toppled from their boat into the stream. He is 
believed to have suffered a heart attack.
Surviving, besides his brother Manuel, are another brother, John, and three 
sisters, Mrs. Mary Valine and Mrs. Amelia Valine, both of Sacramento, and Mrs. 
Irma Lee of Hood.
