Duden, an old resident of Sacramento County, died in this city yesterday, after a long illness. He is survived by his wife and several children -- W. L. Duden of Los Angeles, Mrs. J. A. Gibson of Seattle, F. H. Duden of Jackson, Mrs. Florence Francis of San Francisco, Mrs. S. H. Warren of Isleton, E. F. Duden, Alice, Mabel and Ethel Duden, and Mrs. Leona Smith Duden of Sacramento. The deceased was a native of Pennsylvania, aged 73 years. He was a pioneer blacksmith of the county, and was widely known. Arrangements have not yet been made for the funeral, but it is announced that the interment will be strictly private.
