El Dorado Republican 27 December 1918
Death of Herbert Miser

Herbert Owen Miser, son of Joseph E. Miser of Shingle Springs, died in 
Sacramento December 19th. He was 23 years of age, and is survived by his 
father, mother (Mrs. Leontine Wallace), a brother, J.E. Miser of San Francisco, 
three sisters, Gertrude and Harlan Miser of Shingle and Mrs. C.T. Walker of 
Sacramento. The funeral was held at Shingle Springs Sunday afternoon.

Additional Comments:
Harlan Miser was not a sister, but a brother who died 29 June 1929 near Shingle 
Springs, El Dorado County, California.
