Farrar Jr. Date Of Photograph: May 5, 2002 Photo can be seen at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ca/sanbernardino/cemeteryphotos/montecito/farrarjr183gph.jpg Image file size: 136.0 Kb This is a picture of my father's marker at Montecito Cemetery in San Bernardino CA. I took it on May 5, 2002. He was killed in an auto accident in Idaho in 1962. I have no other info beyond this. He is buried next to his father Floyd White Farrar. The inscription reads: In Loving Memory Floyd W. Farrar Jr. BM (B2) 1916 (USN Seabee Emblem) 1962 Additional Comments: Apparently when the marker was placed the info given to the maker didn't explain what BM (B2) meant. It refers to his US Navy rate. He was Boatswain's Mate Second Class and that is what is on his discharge papers I have in my possession. The B2 refers to the secondary unit he was attached to in Korea in 1950, it was a stevedore unit and was referred to as B2.
