Jeff was born Aug. 4, 1958, in Loma Linda. He grew up in Hesperia, attended Hesperia schools, played trumpet in school bands, was a Boy Scout, played Little League Baseball for seven summers and was a charter member of Victor Valley Christian Church. Jeff also worked as an electrician for many years with Mesa Electric in Hesperia. A life member of the American Motorcyclist Association, No. 279229, Jeff enjoyed motorcycles and on his 20th birthday, he bought a Harley-Davidson. The first car he paid for himself was a 1966 Mustang with a desert scene on the doors, which is still family-owned. For a few years, Jeff lived in Tennessee and then Kentucky. One job he found interesting was doing electrical work on a sound studio for singer Randy Travis. While in Kentucky, Jeff was foreman for the work on Murray State University's technology building and the Mayfield Hospital. In 1993, Jeff moved to Kingman, Ariz., to be near his father, Jack Brown, who died in May 2004. Jeff worked on Kingman's first Wal-Mart, Avi Casino, Ford Proving Ground, schools in Aguila and Bagdad, Somerset Village and many other Mohave County Arizona projects. His last place of employment was Evers Electric in Kingman, Ariz. Survivors include Jeff's mother, Jeanne Hamilton Brown of Hesperia; sister, Jeaneece of Central Point, Ore.; sons, Jeremy of Shasta Lake City and Jonathan of Hesperia; uncles, Charles Lloyd Brown of Spring Valley, Jack Hamilton of Hesperia, Jerry Hamilton of Willows and Roger Hamilton of Gresham, Ore.; aunts, Joyce Spray of Missouri and Carole Ley of Redlands; nieces, Kristin Vincent, Tiffany Dunn and Brittany Tuck; and many other family members and friends. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Mountain View Cemetery in Kingman, Ariz.
