Ilene Marie Nelson/Hughes 72, passed November 22, 2005 in Encinitas, Calif. Born 
October 8, 1933 in Sullivan, Indiana, Ilene was a 17 year resident of Sugarloaf. 
She was the owner/broker of the Gold Rush Realty and was the secretary of the Board 
of Realtors.

She is survived by her husband Dwayne (Bill) Nelson, 11 children, 22 grandchildren 
and 11 great grandchildren. Private services were held Nov. 29 and her final resting 
place is the Riverside National Cemetery. Donations may be sent to the San Diego Hospice, 
4311 3rd. Ave., San Diego, CA 92103.
