Arthur Charles Moniak Big Bear Lake, San Bernardino County, CA Published in the "Big Bear Grizzly" Monday, July 3, 2006 4:23 PM PDT File uploaded 28 Jul 2006 This file is part of the California Tombstone Project http://www.rootsweb.com/~cemetery/california/californ.html Arthur Charles Moniak was born on Nov. 8, 1919, and passed June 18, 2006. During his wonderfully full and productive life, he wore many hats; soldier, businessman, philanthropist and community leader-these hats worn all early on in life. There is one hat worn in his later years which he donned with the most pride of all, family man. Arthur's children, grandchildren and wife, Mary, were the accomplishments he has found the most joy in. You could see at every graduation, wedding and birthday the satisfaction he felt in everyone of his crooked smiles and each dance step he took. He leaves this life and all of us better off than when he found it. We will always love, honor and respect this legacy. Arthur is survived by his wife, Mary J.; and children: Lawrence, Carolyn, Ira, Richard; stepchildren: Carla Smith, John, Steve and Bob Jones; and brother Wally. Visitation will be on Friday, June 30, 2006, from 11:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11:30 a.m. both at Miller-Jones Sun City Chapel, 26770 Murrieta Rd., Sun City, CA 92585. Interment will be at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, Calif., 1:15 p.m., staging area #2. Miller-Jones Mortuary, directory.
