Born in Texas, her family moved to Arizona, then Pasadena, Calif. Juanita married Clarence Mullan in Pasadena where they lived until moving to Sacramento in 1958. In 2000, she and her daughter, Marlene Thurston, moved to Fawnskin where she enjoyed her garden so much. Juanita also leaves two grandchildren, Steve Thurston and Colleen Kramer, great grandchildren, Nick, Chelsea and Rachel, all of Big Bear Valley, and her brother Jack Isham. Juanita is resting next to her husband of 63 years in Elk Grove, Calif. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 7, at 7 p.m., United Methodist Church, Big Bear City.
