“THOMAS ORRICK'S DEATH 
Thomas M[arion] Orrick, who was adjudged insane by Judge Cole about two weeks 
ago and who was immediately taken to the State Hospital at Patton [San 
Bernardino County], died at that institution on Monday [May 16] of this week. 
He was a brother of William Orrick of Silsbee [Texas], and had been in Imperial 
Valley only a few weeks, having come from Fort Smith, Arkansas.” END
