Lois Ruth Hicks Smallwood 80, known to many as "Granny", passed Nov. 5, 2005, and was a 
Big Bear Valley resident for 10 years. Lois was very active in church and attended every 
Bible study group. It was her desire and love to serve the Lord in every possible way.

She is survived by her two daughters, Carol Sue and Sheryl Lee; brother David; sister 
June Gordon; six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; plus her "Granny's Girls." 
Her monthly newsletter was a joy and a blessing to her many friends.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Nov. 13, at 3 p.m. at the Big Bear Christian Center, 
800 Greenspot, Hwy. 38, Big Bear City, Calif.
