George Stanfield 75, passed on Feb. 8, 2006, at home.

A WWII veteran, George retired from I.T.T. Cannon Electric after 37 years in 1985 and 
became a permanent resident of Big Bear in 1989. He served for 12 years on the Big Bear 
Municipal Water District board, was a Master Mason, past president of the Shrine Club, a 
Sugarloaf Road Commissioner, and spent five years on the Sheriff's Citizen's Patrol. He 
is survived by his wife, Georgene, and his two sons, Robert and Charles. Memorial service 
to be held through Masonic Lodge on March 25.
