Walter Henry "Walt" Weber 
95, passed July 19, 2005. He was born in Derry, New Hampshire and move to California in 1940 where be became a 
talent scout and manager, working alongside many well known celebrities including John Wayne, Judy Garland, Micky 
Rooney and others. 

Walt moved to Big Bear in 1959 when he and his wife purchased the Wishing Well Motel. In later years they ran a popular 
antique shop on "Red Ant Hill".

He is survived by his son Wally Weber and grandchildren Kristin Weber and Wade Reeser. Private services were held on 
August 3. 

The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent in his memory to "Mountain Elder Care", 605 Maltby, Big Bear City, CA 92314.
